South Asian Classical Music Society of Chicago
Cultivating South Asian classical music traditions
in Chicago
Celebrating Music, Community, and Culture
For over a decade, the South Asian Classical Music Society (SACMS) has been a platform for preserving, presenting, and celebrating the rich traditions of South Asian classical music in the Chicago area. Our events bring together renowned artists, dedicated students, and a vibrant community of listeners united by a shared love for this art form.
This short compilation captures moments from past concerts, workshops, and community gatherings—reflecting the spirit, scale, and cultural depth of SACMS. We invite you to experience the music, the artists, and the community that continue to shape our journey.
Help us keep the music going.
Please consider making a tax-deductible gift to SACMS.
We are a grassroots organization, led by a committed troupe of musicians, rasikas, and volunteers. We work hard to cultivate the South Asian classical arts in Chicago from the grassroots level on up. Individual donations compose a substantial portion of our operational budget. Your contribution makes a difference!Contact Us
